Molly

In memory of sweet loving Molly who charmed everyone she met, including Meg Crane who was adopted by Molly after her former human moved overseas. “Molly was a people person cat. She loved company and jumping on the laps of perfect strangers. Usually standing on their laps. She would sit fascinated by a crossword puzzle, watching my pencil make its mark in the boxes. She was really happy when the yoga mat came out. Perhaps hard to believe, but she would roll over on her back and wave her paws about in imitation of the moves. She had a naughty side. When my sister-in-law came to visit, Molly went into the bedroom when we were asleep, and stole her bracelet. It was leather and had a few tinkly charms. It wasn’t until days later while vacuuming, that I found it in a place no one would have left it. No one but Molly.” Molly spent the final years of her golden age happily being spoiled by Meg.  Safe journey over the Rainbow Bridge, Molly! Remembrance donations by Meg Crane, Ed Berberian and Gayle Carrol.  December 2020.
